Driver mirror tilt on 2018 x5

So is there a way to make the drivers mirror tilt when backing up?

I looked at bimmercode it says its active. The passenger side does it but the driver side does not.

It so rarely needed for most people...but if you live where you do a lot of parallel parking on the left side of the street (or what ever reason you desire this feature for the driver's mirror)...you could always create a 2nd seat/mirror memory position where the driver's side mirror is tilted down to view the curb. Then press the other seat memory to return it back to your regular seat/mirror setting when done.

If you do have two drivers and also use the two memory buttons on the driver's seat...perhaps one driver could forgo their memory seat setting and just rely on their remote fob/key to adjust the seat for them automatically. This cold free up the 2nd seat memory button for the main driver of the vehicle that needs a tilted curb view for the driver's side mirror.

Just a thought.

pretty sure RHD vehicles tilt their left mirrors when putting the car in reverse lol
