Thank you for the info. So do you think ill be running into issues if my car came stock with the 611M's in 20's with the summer wheels but with the winter square setup that you have? Also have you ran into any issues running 40's all around as opposed to the 45 up front and 40 in the rear? I had an issue with cruise control not functioning in my M6 when I ran with a different height the stock. Im hoping to keep the 20's as my dedicated winter wheel set up and either find a set of stock 21's that the dealers should've optioned out or a set of aftermarket wheels later on in the spring.

I haven't had any issues so far. Since it's the Winter package that BMW recommends, I assume there shouldn't be any issues. As far as possible issues with the stock 20" 611M wheels and a Winter square set up, I'm not sure. Maybe JNoSol will chime in, he has a lot of knowledge about wheels and tires.

OEM tire profile on the 20" is not 45 and 40, but 40 and 35, so it's the front tire size all around.

That looks like a hell of a good time.

That Donington with red interior just looks awesome and sharp.

I especially enjoyed the shots of the X5M sliding with the snow "splashing" across the vehicle. Would make a great BMW catalog photo to showcase the winter capabilities of the car and the fun to be had.

Cool shots. You guys got lucky. Here in DC the snow was past the side view mirrors on my M5. I've driven it with snow tires in more than 12" of snow and I'm lowered on Eibachs too. For Jonas here in DC, I witnessed a Hummer H2 get stuck in the snow here. It was just too much even for a car that had massive clearance and advanced AWD capability. Doubt you would've made it past your driveway in your X5M with 36+ inches we got.

Yes, it's Donnington Grey, and thank you! The photo of the snow "splashing" is my fav too!

I agree, I don't think my X5M would have made it in 36" of snow. If an H2 got stuck I surely would have as well. Hope you're done digging out from the storm. A lot of the snow has melted here due to the sunshine and warmer temperatures.

Your X5 looks like a big, happy St. Bernard playing in that snow. I really dig that color combo, too!
