Sequential mirror led blinkers

I didn't see much in the way of pictures when I briefly searched although I think Maverik259 has a DIY somewhere so I figured I would take a few pics for others searching. Unfortunately I thought about that a little late so the pics are only showing reassembly, where screws go, clips to release, etc. Sorry ! At least there is some reference.

The simple and quick way-

Tilt mirror glass upward, pry from the bottom and pop it off, remove heat and/or autodim wiring and set it aside

With a rigid pry tool (or flathead) release the two tabs inside for the cap to come off

Remove all the screws with a T10 and you can then pop the frame off. Pivoting the mirror away makes this a little easier

Unplug the factory light remove the remaining screws (3) and then tilt the assembly in (towards the door) and you can swivel to
remove the bottom section which contains the light.

Remove one screw and release one tab/clip to pop the light off. Pay attention to the tab closest to hinge side of the light as it inserts
into a groove where one of the screw spots are to slide it in straight.

Reverse order to reassemble.

Any questions, feel free to ask !

I’ve read the sequential blinkers aren’t very bright, any input?

I have no issues with their brightness at all. I've done a few sets and haven't heard of any issues on those either.

Correct not very bright at all but they beat the Hell out of having the clear lenses and moisture in there

So I'm not the only one - passenger side on my car has moisture in it, even though it's lightly rained once in the last 2 months

Might take it off and see if I can get the moisture dried out inside the house...

$35 on AliExpress. Whether 1 month wait is worth $100+ is up to you.
