Quad tips are around $100 to powder coat.

Sorry I'm looking for the best way to remove the current chipped VHT gloss paint before starting over. I assume paint thinner?

I'd use Rustoleum Aircraft Remover.

After lots of searching i finally found a store that carry’s the Foliatec gloss black exhaust spray and ships to the US. Sounds like this is the only high quality, fool proof spray so i thought it might be helpful for others that are looking in the US. Shipping is pricey, but not priceier than having to redo chipping paint or get it powder coated.

Just bought this stuff. I think I need to go industrial strength with these New England winters. Thank you for the recommendation!

P.S. I'm hoping I can drive during the 7 day hardening period!

How many cans did you purchase? I'm thinking 2 should do it. BTW, it's about $95 for 2 (with shipping to VA).

I just bought the one, hoping that’s enough, not a huge area to cover. But yeah shipping is more expensive than the product. But it seems to be the best so very worth it.

Surprised nobody is doing this as a DIY replacement/core exchange for the MPE. Seems like a good market like myself who wouldn't mind paying labor plus priority my tips back so no down time

My Foliatec order with AVB was just refunded; they can't ship overseas. Back to the VHT!

Here is my process. Used only one can of VHT Black Gloss and one can of VHT Clear Coat.

4 coats of VHT black gloss Engine Enamel Paint and 3 coats of VHT clear gloss paint. About 10 minute dry time for each coats and I let it cure overnight.
