BC Forged KL01

Test fitment done and I have to say I'm happy with my "gamble". I am lowered on VFTs so keep that in mind with the photos and I dropped camber out from 2.5 to 1.5 in the rear.

21x13 +32 rear (weighs 62.2 w/tire, tire weight is 34lbs) and 21x11 +26 front (weighs 55.6 w/tire, tire weight is 30lbs) the PS4 is a 28" diameter and stock is 29" so speedo will be off but a friend has a scan tool that can take the stock BMW 2mph off so I should be back to being 60mph when speedo says 62 just like the vehicle was delivered from BMW. I'll add stock rim and tire weights in this space tomorrow after I pull them off. Stock rims with Pirelli snow tires weigh 68lbs front, 75.6lbs rear

Offset is pretty spot on especially when looking from the rear, from the front the fronts look like they could go in a few mm but it's aggressive and I like it. I may lower the front just a bit since the lower diameter gave me some wheel gap I don't want but we'll see. Low down from an angle view this thing looks INSANE with the 355 rear 295 front tires.

For those interested with a stud conversion that's what the last pic is for. The short one is 60mm and the longer one is 82mm. With the 20mm spacer I have the 60mm isn't long enough to engage all the threads so it's a no go for me in the winter. If you don't run a spacer more than probably 15mm these would work I'd say. The next size up is a 75mm but since the end of the nose has no thread you're in the same boat as the 60mm. So the other longer stud in the photo is the 82mm that Turner offers and these appear to be long enough. I ordered some Project Kics two piece lug nuts but they won't be in for a couple of months so I'll post more pics of just those when I get them. When I ordered the 60, 75, and 82mm studs Turner sent me chrome lugnuts as well for each of them without me adding them to kart.

Overall I'm super happy that this all turned out like I had hoped. I had 20mm spacers added to the stock rims, I told BC I had 25mm spacers so everything was based off of that. They would confirm on where the outside of the rim would sit compared to what I "had". Then they told me how much they would go in towards the strut and we adjusted from there to end up where I am today.

I'll take some better photos later when I get it washed, polished, glazed, sealed, and waxed. I just got her days before xmas........

Looks nice! I haven't seen a 21" set up with this tire size. Standard width for the 22" set ups tho. The wheels look 🔥

Who makes this camber kit? Is it kmac the same company that make it for the E70? And has anyone ran KW's with the camber kit?

So from what I have researched on the internet there is the Kmac kit that you mentioned and the only other thing i saw for the rear was a
SPC Adjustable Rear camber kit 72115. Autozone has them for $391

No I did not buy a camber kit I had negative camber taken OUT in the rear. It was - 2.5 stock and I was able to achieve - 1.5 during the alignment. I was trying for two things, less inside shoulder wear on the tire and more clearance to the body on the inside top of the tire

Love this model. It came down to these or the RZ21s for me. Spent about a week staring at their photo album before pulling the trigger.

P.S. Nice work opting for the OE center cap upgrade!

So what did you go with? And what sizes?

I went with these because I figured they'd be easy to clean

I went with the RZ21 in Brushed Dark Black. Very similar to the KL01.

Looks great. Why no 22's though? Way more tire options and the F85s have 21"s stock anyway.

I live in Iowa, we have potholes you could park cars in. I'd have a bent rim in no time. Also, they don't make a 355 in 22" that I saw, and 22 might not be a stock size but 325 is.......

Any more photos of the wheels? I have to admit, I have been wrestling over which BC Forged to get and seeing your photos in that color pretty much has me set on the KL01 in gloss gunmetal.

I was torn between RZ05, RS41, RZ21 and the KL01. I'd be putting it on a 335xi....I think will look amazing.
