McGuiars Ultimate Quick Detailer is by far the best product available for cars today. It cannot be beat.

I really wasn't sure what product to use as there are so many out there but my favorite detailing channel on youtube is ammonyc and when he teams up with other pro detailers they uses Meguiars so thats pretty much how I chose it ahah!
Anyways i'm pretty happy with the end result. I should of have taken pictures of the tail lights before the compound because they had a lot of glaze or they seemed mate in a sens. But now its a complete different story! |

Small world...I'm in the middle of replacing that exact part today. Part number is 51-76-7-318-509. To be clear, this is the part you are holding in your photo. It is the seal attached to the rear driver's side door.

Mine needs to be replaced as well, what was the process like? Did you have to purchase any adhesive? Don't know where to start.

First step is to pull the old seal off (you can start at the top or bottom of the door). Pay attention to how the top of the seal is interlocked into the seal above it. There will be adhesive residue once you pull the old seal off. I used Goo Gone to easily get rid of it and then cleaned the area off thoroughly where I would be applying the new seal. Next, fit the seal into the one above it as I mentioned earlier. Peel off the tape that's protecting the adhesive on the new seal and slowly work your way down from top to bottom by pressing it onto the door. The whole process took about 15 to 20 minutes. Most of that time was spent cleaning off the old adhesive from the worn out seal. |
