Recommendation for Floor Mat and Trunk Liner?

Hi, I am new here so I will introduce myself.

Just bought X6M and live in NH.

I am hunting for floor mats because car did not come with one.

I do not like that M performance one and cannot find OEM part number for Cloth one.

I am not fan of running All-Weather floor mat.

Also, who makes best all weather trunk liner?

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

I've seen two types of M Performance mats so anyone know which one is "current"? I like the second one and those are the ones on ShopBMWUSA so I assume it's the newest version?

Not sure why you don't like running all weather mats but you can find the part numbers for cloth on getbmwparts dot com.

For the trunk liner, I go with weathertech. Fits perfectly, and durable.

still haven't found a rear trunk liner i'd like.

liked the Tux mats so much, trashed my wife's denali weather tech and my trucks weather liners and bought tux mats for them too.

I have always been a fan of the Maxpider line. I decided to try the Maxpider CARPETED version this time and think it is the perfect combination of looks and all weather performance. I hated the weathertechs. Did they work as they should? Flawlessly. Did I feel like I was in a dump truck when my feet were on them? Yep. The regular Maxpider were a nice upgrade to the regular rubber weathertechs, but the CARPETED version is perfect.

I was that guy that always went back to the velours when the weather got nice - but I have left these in year round since I got them. I like them that much.

Could not recommend them more. I have a thread I started with pictures if you wanna see them.

That is main reason I do not like it haha

Yeah I think I will get maxpider carpeted version.

Findway.ca - they’re similar to tux, but carpeted. Had them in an e90 once, just ordered a set for the f15 myself.

I believe the F16 & F86 share the same floor pan...so the carpeted floor mats for the f16 should fit the f86.

I would also suggest looking for the 11 digit BMW part nbr on one of the online part database sites like www.realoem.com, www.bmwfans.info, or http://bimmercat.com. Once you have the correct part nbr (based on your VIN)...then sites like "getbmwparts.com" can be helpful as well as being able to just google the 11 digit BMW part nbr.

You gave no model year (which is always helpful when asking other to help you find parts)...but here's a direct link to one of the part database sites that gives the part nbrs for the carpeted mats.

A quick google search using the 11 digit BMW part nbr for #1 (the complete set of front/rear mats + the anchors)...I found this pic of what they look like:

{bmw part #51 47 7 439 873}

I bought the OEM F85 trunk liner and had to send it back because it didn't fit (it was too long and curled up at the tailgate). Interestingly the OEM liner from my old E70 X5M fits perfectly.
