Do tell more. I’m considering a F16 -> G05 move and I was expecting a better drive, including the odd enthusiastic spirited session. Where does it fall short?

I went from E70 to F15 to G05. Each model becomes less of a driver's car and more of a refined, effortless and luxurious mode of transportation.

I just watched Joe Achilles almost cream himself driving a G05 LCI 30d. I don’t know what to believe anymore

I don't buy cars based on what a silly YouTuber says/does. I base it on my own experience.

How does the suspension compare ?

as in F15 with EDC M Sport, and the G05 EDC M Sport ?

My F15 currently feels very floaty/bouncy (slow bounce) and sport mode is great to level out, but too firm when hittin pot holes and all.

Wondering if they fixed that issue/made the X5 level abut quicker in comfort mode ?

I had Adaptive M in my E70 (drove like a steamroller, still the best), then I had a no-suspension F15 and it drove great on 21" wheels. Now I have air suspension on the G05 and it's incredibly comfortable on 20" wheels.

Sorry, that's just what we use to call it when the X5 came without suspension options. In other words: just the base suspension.

ahh ok understood

I still feel that the F15 with m sport EDC and rear air feels so bouncy in comfort.

I came from an E60 530i with M sport suspension and that was probably the best suspension for both everyday driving and sportiness... anywho - cheers again !

I changed the airbags and much less bouncy in that mode. Apparently, I discovered they were leaking slowly when I left the vehicle parked for 5 months.

Oh really ? Interesting.
I have a set of new arnotts as spares so maybe I might do that.

However I still don't think that would change as I also notice that when going over speed humps the car just bounces even on the fronts, like there the initial bound and rebound, and then another smaller bound and rebound.

But in sport, it's only one bound/rebound.

She got us through a blizzard last weekend effortlessly - 35D, 31.1" AT3W all terrain off road tires, 30mm lift, first F15 with 17's? 17x7.5 Method 314 - The thing still handles with confidence and when you hit the mud and snow its a blast. Coming from a lowered f15 on 21's, I couldnt be happier

I hate that I like this so much. I feel it needs a little more poke/wider wheels and maybe flares lol

Love the build man. Totally different philosophy to my drag racing focused build , but equally appealing imo. Well done.
