Retrofitted ID6
Hello, I'm new to this forum, but have read most of your chats since the last month and decided to go for a NBT EVO ID6 retrofit to replace NBT..
And I did, they really coded everything perfectly and even my Chassis Number are as originals.. The only annoying thing is after the install the main HU screen and instrument screen are gettin dimmed in shadows even if it is a sunshiny day.. And especially during daytime when you get the sun from behind the car, the screen dims a lot.. You can still read the screen and see but I like it bright as before. In the older NBT I used to have brightness setting for the HU but now I have brightness at night, instead, nothing for the day.. The question is do you all have it with the ID6? In other threads I have seen that it could be coded, so I have bought the equipment to code but scared if anything goes wrong and if I mess it up.. Or should I better live with it? Thank you all.. |

When going from NBT to NBT EVO,I believe that the original comms module doesn't work with the EVO (This is the explanation I was given)... So you lose all those functions. Which is annoying, and not really spelt out
