Mashup man. Must be so frustrating it being in the country for almost a month!!

It's ok. My wife's car mainly but I drive it last week daily. Sport suspension isn't much to write home about - pretty bad on rougher surfaces. Comfort seems to be fine. Everything else pretty much checks out so no dramas- I guess we knew what we were getting and it meets expectations

But I'll tell you one thing. I looovvvvvved getting back into my 530d xdrive with adaptive drive.

Update this evening, going to be at least next week now as the wheel arch was damaged during transport.... and they won’t release it to the dealer until it’s fixed. It’s currrently at Thorne near Doncaster. The only reason the dealer found out why it was delayed was because a guy there used to work at the dealer. Otherwise it just says delayed on the info email.

If they’d give me 0% plus the discount and it wouldn’t take 6 months at least, them perhaps!

But my E90 is now very long in the tooth and for what I need my car for, I need something new and reliable.

Have no regrets getting this now rather than waiting. Though would like not to be forced to wait later than I already am!

Right. It arrived this morning, finally.... So pleased, feel like little boy at Christmas!!

Feel like paranoid old man when GF is trying reverse it...

First impression: Can’t find cargo net!

But seriously, very impressive, really like the colour, no regrets at all. Now need to get and sort gap etc...

Delay came down to somebody pranging it in the ship and they wouldn’t release it until it had the wheel arch replaced. But the part was on back order so took forever. But here at last!

Positives and negatives?

Firstly, I think it looks the business, love the colour and how it sits on the road. Very different driving than my E90. Not really floored it yet but seems to have plenty of oomph. Miss the sports seats a little from the E90, these aren’t bad but don’t quite grip you like the others did. HUD and polarised glasses.... Although the HUD’s otherwise very good.

All in all, absolutely no regrets, it’s a lot of car, it’s comfortable and seems to drive well and looks awesome. Quite happy, thank you very much!

Looking forward to getting a few lighting upgrades so I can really put my foot down.... 😜 Benefits of driving with exemptions.....

I don't know but I like the matt silver slats on the silver car...
