Another tire question.

Ok I’ve read the forum thoroughly and taken notes. I know the sizes I can run on the OEM 20” wheel. I have read how a member ran 275/45-21 315/40-21 with spacers. I know I can run 275/35-21 315/30-21 and this is what I will likely do for an All season tire option for 21s. my question is can I run 295/35 21 square or 295/40 21 square. Stock suspension. I saw one member ran 295/35 but didn’t see if they ran into any issues. Can anyone chime in?

Run your specs through this calculator comparing your old vs new wheel/tire setup for each axle. Then see if there is enough room for any additional "poke" or "inset": www.willtheyfit.com

I did this. Website said it was fine but it seems that site only calculates Speedo change and ride height change but I don’t think it takes into account how the tire size change can mess with the suspension components. The wheel size doesn’t change so website said it was fine…

If you use OEM 21" rear wheel are 11.5x21 and 295 is too tight for this wheel.
Will fit but will be stretch and not ok for tyre.

P.S. OEM 20" wheels have a same specs like OEM 21''
P.S.1 OEM winter setup is different specs

Just last week we did the Michelin AS3+ in 275/35-21 315/30-21 and love them!

On tirerack the 295/35 tires say the rim width range is 10-11.5” are you sure they won’t fit?

That seems to be the safest move to run an AS tire on the 21” wheels. I think I will swap to an all season 275/40 315/35 on my 20s for more sidewall and re-asses running a winter tire on the 21” next year and figure out what size for the 21” later
