Unplugging seemed to be the best way to handle ASD.

I've read that even coding off doesn't remove the signal entirely.

Has anyone been able to unplug the ASD on a X6M, with B&O upgrade.
I took the driver side rear panel off and I could not reach the plug, maybe I am missing something........ other than a brain LoL.

Yes I have, it's a bit harder to get too, I need a flashlight to see how the clip was oriented. Once I got my bearings it just popped right up and i pulled it out. 5 of the 5:10 min job was just getting the orientation correct.

ASD is a module that simulates the exhaust sound into the interior of the car, via the speakers. I guess because the car is so well insulated. Some prefer to disconnect the module and enjoy a more natural sound...... or lack of sound. I guess if you want to hear the exhaust when ASD is disconnected, open a window.
