What it was meant, "No way" in a shocking way, surprised by the law for making that illegal.
And my mentioned that I have sold to some shop and end user in OZ, of course that doesn't mean that I am changing their law and making them legal.

As for the unsprung weight etc, yes of course I do understand them.
By adding that much spacer width, there is no negative effect to the car.
As I said, it reacts similar as to adding weight to the car itself.
So if you said that it will cause an affect to the dynamic suspension, you may not want to put any passenger or load to the car.

I think 15mm Front, 20mm Rear would hardly affect the vehicle in a negative way..
What about aftermarket wheels that Tire Rack and many vendors who sells in various sizes, weights, different offset than stock? I've never heard of any car that got damaged due to spacers being added..

I'll be installing my spacers on Friday. Should I apply antiseize to the rotor hat as shown in the picture? Should I just apply to the wheel hub where the spacer will rest, and then on the spacer hub?

Thanks

That's how I do it and around the hub ring. Way less messy than applying it to the spacer itself. Just remember to use some type of latex glove or something since this stuff sticks on skin for a day or two if contacts made

Bigb348, yep...exactly. If anything, that's a little more than I normally use when applying it. That said, I've had spacers on my A4 since '09 and have never had an issue with them ceasing onto the hub...maybe I'm lucky?

BMW hubs are notorious to rusting, just a precaution thing. I know my Porsche came with 5mm spacers from the factory and when I swapped out the brakes the suckers just slid right off when I removed the wheel haha

But since the vehicle's still new may not have this issue but why risk it for a $8 bottle of anti seize

@Bigb348 wow, that's too much.
You only need to put it on the hub ring section.

Agreed. No harm in adding anti-seize. Your example on the Porsche is how the spacers come off on my Audi, which actually has Porsche brakes on it.

You only want the anti-seize on the ring area only. The actual flat hub area should not have anything because it needs to be clean/smooth for proper mating.

Anyone who has the 15 front and 20 rear for a period of time? I'm concerned about whether spacing out the front wheels will cause damage to the rear door and side skirt/ quarter. Had that problem on my e70

My 22" setup that I ran for a year comes out about the same as running 15/20 mm spacer.
As for living in California, I don't have a problem with my side skirts or flares.
I have one nick on my rear fender, I think it came off from another car kicked it off the ground.

As I understand it in Australia (or at least the state of NSW).

1. No Spacers
2. Cannot widen the track by 26mm (wheels, spacers, anything)

He go with ACS since it is more conservative drop than the H&R.

Anytime stewy604 . Thanks for the business.
