I fall in that category, + in both categories. I think I can manage though, at least for a year or so.

How can you be so skinny? Did you spend all of your food money on car?

For a year, yeah the cool factor outweighs the inconvenience.

I wish I had a cool update on the X5 or Porsche, but I got nothing! Just driving the Panamera daily and loving it.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Congrats on the new X5! You have a blank canvas to work with.

Being that you don’t have the M Sport your options are limited, but there are some available to change the look and make it more sporty.

What ‘look’ are you going for/hoping to achieve?

Cheers!

I do want it to look more aggressive and sportier but am not sure where to start and what accessories are available in the market to achieve my goal.
I picked up black kidney grills and mirror covers from our local dealer and will put those on today.

The car came with silver roof rails and chrome window trims although I ordered those in black.

Not so much fund of white side skirt and white rear diffuser. Not sure what to do with those.

Wheels are 20" with RFT. Thinking about powder coding those in graphite or replacing those with aftermarket 22" with none RFT

Awesome, sounds like you’re off to a good start and have a plan. I recommend starting a new thread and you’ll get a lot more traffic and assistance. I know there are some fellow forum member that have swapped their bumpers and other mods to trims other than the MSport. I believe fbuzila, fromkrypton and DuSh both have experience in this and always offer sound advice.
I look forward to seeing the transformation.

This thread is a great example of a conversion/mod thread, https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1537785

Love your X5 mods, Violator. Phenomenal thread, beautiful car. The mod bug is biting me, and I haven't even picked up my X5 yet! haha.

Looking forward to picking her up in a few weeks and then getting started on a few of these. First on the list will likely be the RaceChip. See you've done a ton of aesthetic work, I'm still wondering if there is good intake, headers, and exhaust options for the X5 50i.

But, in any event, I want to do most of what you've done to it. My first oder of business, however, will be the XPEL clearbra, ceramic coat, and getting my windows tinted.

First, thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it.

I think you’re heading in the right direction with the RC out of the gate. I started with MPPK, then RCU, then RC GTS Black. No regrets.
r33_RGSport can hook you up with your mod needs!

As to your other questions, I recommend starting a mod thread and asking those questions. There are several members on here with vast experience with the 50i; DuSh that can give some advice.

Thanks again!

Many thanks, guys. DuSh, I actually already had that thread bookmarked, so I've been reading it closely and following along, learning.

Having an M3 and E30 318i with a swapped engine, I'm obviously already bit by the mod bug in both those cars. Can't wait to pick this one up.

I'll of course start a thread as soon as I have it!

Bumping my thread to make it easier to find. There have been a lot of recent post with questions regarding mods and requesting pics. I’ve done a majority of the mods and posted pics, enjoy.

Hey Violator - got a question for you - what tire and size do you have on the front on your 375's? Are they 275's???
