Hey Folks,
I just got the latest release late last night ... and its cherry!!! I put on about 60 miles on it (40 highway and 20 local) and its seriously impressive. Everyone already knows the Procede v4 was smooth and I had no gripes or requests. I really wasn't looking for anything more with v5, but its new, Vishnu spent the effort, I could at least do the same and load the firmware. The latest version of v5 does feel like it has another level of refinement. I asked what was the difference and why did it make such a nice effect ... I'll let Shiv share, but I told him to keep it a secret to slowdown the copy-cats. (very subjective opinion here) The car feels tame in the mid-range, it absolutely does not mean he's slowed it down. What that means is the delivery is predictable and i think it has to do with the way it "sets the table" for the next step. If the engine is "happy", the next event afterwards is "happy too" and this carries forward. If a base event is "not optimal", it makes it harder for the subsequent events to be "happy" or it may not even be possible. I know the car is a bit faster, but I think everyone will be even more impressed on how it is doing this. I'll see if I can get the time to sneak away and do some dyno pull comparisons between firmware versions. I think it will be obvious then. Junk

I believe these numbers...
We put down 405/428 with just our bolt ons using 92 octane on the old maps... Shiv, will the new maps help the MT guys? If so, send them to me please! Michael@extremeturbosystems.com Thanks man! Michael |
