X5M Newbie Needs Help!

My wife is on me, I need some tips.

I just took delivery of new x5m, 300 or so miles on it. I am driving conservatively, per the break in time period guidelines... but every time I get to destination, the fans keep blowing and making noise by the front hood.

I am sure this is associated with cool down - but is it normal or an indicator of "bad driving" habits in any way?

Does it eventually go away?

Any other tips for this newbie to "M" would be much appreciated!

Perfectly normal on the fans. Just drive it and everything will be fine.

Yep! I drove my X5M home from the dealership and the fan was on and I didn't know either. Called the salesperson and said it was normal. Congrats on the new ride!

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Told my wife to appreciate the power and thermodynamics!
