BMS Intake

Anyone have the BMS intake on the 35i? Any issues or feedback? Seen any improvement on fuel mileage?

Has anyone switch to a dry filter on it?

I just got an x5, and don't expect much from the BMS other than sound. But if there is some other benefits i might upgrade.

Just don't know if it is worth it.

I heard it lights up the CEL, which is why I stay away from it.

I installed this intake on my 35i about a month ago and really has only increased the sound of the turbo under acceleration (which is all I really wanted). Minimal HP gains, if any. It was super easy to install and really cleans up the engine bay in my opinion too.

No CEL, and I've been driving it pretty hard at times too

There is NO CEL let me clear that up. 2 years running 16k miles. No issues and turbo can be heard inside with the music on. Must have on any 35i IMO

No issues with mine. Good sound. Seems to work well with their JB+

also have the BMS intake, no CELs, sound gain is minimal. it is indeed louder than stock for both the intake and BPV noise, but only ever so slightly louder as the X5 has pretty good sound deadening, would not buy again.
