I was able to load CAFD file and attempt to remove electric hitch options. But, I still get Trailer Electrical fault error message.

Anyone have any thoughts on what to look for or how to correct?

Do you mean VO code 7 modules with 3AC added? Or do you mean FDL code 7 modules. And, which modules?

Currently, I am simply trying to get the errors cleared (have not tested trailer lights). Then, i can work on getting the trailer stability controls working.

1) If you have the CAFD injected, you shouldn't betting the electrical fault error message. That's typically associated with the module being installed but the CAFD file not being in place.
2) Something is incorrectly wired from the original installation.

FDL, the AAG + the six others listed in the PM I sent.

Why are you adding 3AC? The electric folding hitch is not available in the US.

Try this:
1) Add 'K235' to HO-Wort in your VO
2) VO Code entire car
3) Make sure correct CAFD is injected in trailer module (AAG)
4) Test trailer lights

Other option is in ISTA+ to go to "retrofit" and add trailer module which will add K235 and code all modules impacted (which is a lot).

I was not aware that the trailer retrofit was an option via Esys…

3AC will work, provided you FDL code the correct lines back to the non-folding hitch. I went this route, as I can actually look at the changes 3AC makes to all of the modules using the TokenMaster comparison tool.

If someone with K235 programmed is up for sending over their 7 CAFD files for the modules, I'd be curious to look at any differences in end result using the comparison tool.

I'm running the Launcher 2.8.2 and the re-arm 2.0.4. I run through the setup instructions in the .pdf (all very clear). When I run the launcher for the first time, enter the PIN, and generate the token, I get a success message. But no .est file appears in the Tokenmaster directory, and E-SYS options are never configured to point to that location.

Any idea why the .est file isn't appearing despite everything appearing to go as normal? I have the date set for October 2018 and am successfully running the re-arm tool.

I cannot help with the Rearm Script. I never use it myself as I have working PRO version. You need to contact the Rearm Script Developer Tony and ask him.

If you are talking about E-sys Launcher Premium or pro-no , no one heard from Tokenmaster for a while. But there are alternatives like Bimmercode and ESysX.

Thanks - I'll check out esysx. Wanted to try Bimmercode, but not sure if expert mode will allow coding the modules needed for TJA and anti-glare High beams. I've already VO coded the high beams, so maybe BimmerCode can do that. But TJA should have VO ideally.

Need help - iDrive stuck rebooting loop

My 2017 f22 idrive is stuck in a reboot loop after a Carly coding attempt and it won't stay up long enough to complete a restore from backup. I do not have Esys, but I would be willing to get it if there is any chance I can revive it... (or is a dealer trip required)? I get codes:
CD0487
E1C440
E1C603
801C15
801C20
E14600

Any thoughts on what best to do?

TIA

Restore your backup and. Try coding it all again, but only do a couple changes at a time. I have been there before, and you just have to walk it back and go slow this time around.

Any advice on how to get the backup restore to complete? The reboot is too quick and causes the restore to fail before it finishes.

Need Help. New with Programing.

Where can I find profiles for NCS expert? The only thing I have been able to code were injectors, and I only have 2 profiles for my NCS expert. I'm guessing the more important one I need is Expert mode.

Is there any way to prevent the vehicle from putting itself in park when trying to back up with the drivers door open?
I remember reading in one of the two coding threads that this question was asked, but I never saw any reply.
