Diesel uls question
Good day all
What type of diesel do u guys use and what's the best you'll get in your respective countries. I am on my second tank and I filled up with ultra low sulphur 10ppm. My first tank which my dealer filled up was uls50ppm. Does anyone know what difference this would make on my vehicle. Someone told me yesterday that the 10 ppm sulphur is only good for emissions and my car will be a bit heavier on fuel and less power with the lower sulphur. Any truth in this ? Regards |

In the EU we only get one type of diesel fuel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EN_590
Sometimes there's a premium brand, too - the difference is a higher cetane number by using chemical additions. The mandated sulphur content is 10 ppm, with most countries having moved to 3-5 ppm for a couple of years now. |
