Just an update with my 50i oil change at dealership. I posted earlier saying that after my recent oil change at BMW dealership - level of my oil held steady. I thought I finally found cure and maybe I should really stick to oem. Well, today I checked oil level and sure enough it has dropped. So no silver bullet and back to reality: oem (whatever they put nowadays) is no better than some other good brands I used before
