315 may work, so long as you can find an appropriately matched front. For example, correct diameter, load index etc.
I know the tire combination that fit, but are very few If it's 315, ratio can be 35, but I couldn't find a 295/30 for front. |

If you have X-Drive, to keep the difference in height the same between front and rear, you have to go up 4 increments in width and down 1 increment in aspect ration in the rear.
For example, if you had a 295/30 front, you'd need a 335/25 in back. If you had a 275/35 front, you'd need a 315/30 rear. Or you could just run a square tire set up.

I'll be running the 275/35 and 315/30 setup on a set of 22s soon. The added benefit of this size is you'll get a bit more sidewall but will have your speedo slightly incorrect.
There are also not too many tire options in these sizes. I'll be running (flamesuit on) Atturo AZ850s. |

Yah, I think they will be just fine...but you know how some folks here look down on anything that isn't Pirelli, Conti, Michelin.
Some of the Q5 and Macan guys are running them without issue. Pretty good long term review here for those interested: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ing-a-new-tire |

Perfect. Know what you’re speaking of. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated! Looks like I’ll do a set of those Atturo’s in a 275/35/22 and 315/30/22. Not coming across any bad reviews!
