Performance Center X5M?

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...6561/overview/

I can't imagine the "dealer demo" means anything other than performance center car to have that much of a price difference on a 2017 model that looks pretty fully loaded. i know in the f80 forums we see them get dumped a lot and its buyer beware - but if anyone has info on this one, it would be appreciated

Seems interesting but the car is 1-1.5 years old and given that a new 2017 could have been bought for low $100s I am not sure this is the best deal.

I have been told that BMW prohibits dealers from certifying cars that are used at the Performace Center or in any BMW performance driving events. That info came from head of the pre-owned department at our local dealer, so I consider that to be a reliable source. This car is certified, so, based on that intel, it would suggest it was not a Performance Center car.

He said that many of these that pop up are used at auto shows, BMW-sponsored events (like golf), etc.

Low mileage, but right at the current market prices for a CPO '17 on BMW's website. Other than a unique color, nothing fabulous about the deal.
