self park feature

I can't find the way to use self park feature on my 2014 BMW X5 xDrive50i.
I push and hold the PDC button but the car doesn't self park.
Based on the information from VIN decoder this car has Driving Assistant Plus option.
How to check if my car has self parking feature?

The car should have one sensor on each side, at the front wheel fender arch.

My car has PDC sensor at each corner of the front lower part of the bumper.
Can you please take a photo of the sensors that you are referring to?

Not on the bumper. For auto parking it needs to have 2 sensors on the front fenders, to measure the parking space as you drive by.

Check in VIN Decoder whether park assist is mentioned, as this is not part of driving assistant plus, as far as I know.

When the 360 camera pops up automatically or by manually pressing the button, can you take a picture of whats on the screen and share it here? Try using your turn signal also and see if that makes a difference.

Have your tried these steps?

There are a couple of other things you need to do besides pressing the Parking Assistsnt button.

Parking Assist is not part of the DA+ package.

Someone lied to you as I'm pretty sure this didn't come on 2014 models. But I could be wrong.

Count your blessings. I tried mine once and got curb rash. I wish I could sell mine back! D

I don’t think it was ever an option. That said I wouldn’t even use it. It’s impossible to find a park spot big enough for this to work in NYC.

I think I've used it 3 times on my 4GC just to check that it works

And actually I was surprised by how little of space it actually needs to park, though I think an average New Yorker will be able to fit two cars there
