M pack 451 Y-spoke wheels

The 20" Y spoke wheels on M pack is now a $950 optional upgrade. Previously this was a free upgrade for the M pack. BMW NA has updated to reflect this on the website.

Great deal for those of you who ordered/took delivery already.

I guess since BMW found out that some of us actually prefer the 451 Wheels on the M Sport, now they have decided to charge for it.

I'm so glad I got mine for free!

The laws of supply and demand. The 20" 469M option was constrained, holding up deliveries (and sales numbers). BMW offered the alternate 20" option free to appease buyers who wanted that size and to get cars out the door faster. At a loss, mind you. After all, who wouldn't turn down a free upgrade?

The 469 is no longer constrained and BMW feels content in now charging for the optional upgrade.

This came from my source on the product team up in NJ.

Good for people that got in on that great deal. Makes my decision easier...going for all season 19s and will get aftermarket summer set up.
