6WA cluster retrofit - any issue with dealer diagnostics?

Hi guys,

Want to swap out my standard cluster for a 6WA - will there be any issue with the dealership diagnosing future faults (car still under AUC warranty for 2 years).

I know retrofitting NBT evo's etc can cause issues, just wasn't sure about a cluster change?

Cheers

It was discussed here https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1039855
As far as I understand it depends on your manufacturing date, for early production (pre-2015) you might need to connect your original cluster. Even my car is 2014 never heard anything from a dealer.
