Figure out where the clips are from the replacement, and put enough pressure to where that clip is.
It will come off, unless someone put epoxy to it.

Haha ya. Love it immediately. For the M50d trim pieces as well that proved annoying AF to get in but finally got the brackets installed. Painting them trim black to blend in. Just wanted them to to fill the dumb open holes Bmw left in the grills.

i could not agree more. i expect certain cost cutting and indications of on certain platforms and products but up until the X7 debuted this was the flagship suv... they could have done a little more to hide their greed.

Did you pull out or push inside ?
