Dinan sticker on my engine? Help!

I just purchased a 2016 X6M with 8600 miles , one owner exceptionally clean from a dealership where it was traded.

Tonight i was admiring the engine bay and I found this Dinan sticker!? Does this mean my engine has a Dinan tune?


I don't know how to size the photo to share it here..but it's a Dinan sticker and it says the following:

DINATRONICS

PERFORMANCE TUNER
All tune-up specifications are same as stock factory settings

CARB E.O. No. D-176-42

Can anyone help me understand whats been done to my X6m?

Yes it asks me to enter 4 digits! Where do i find the 4 digits?

Last 4 digits of Of MAC address on the Dinan equipment. It will be on a door sill sticker.

If you can't if the car has a tune or not then that doesn't say much for the tune.

hi all, I to found the sticker, I located the unit. but I do not have the Mac address on the side of door or on the unit itself .
how can I find the Mac adress for the unit . I know its on, the app can detect it, I just can't input the right Mac address
any help is much appreciated

give Dinan a call with the number. they should give you a idea what tune you have installed

if the tune was removed all the stickers and phone calls in the world wont help.

I recently went through this when shopping for a used Donnington grey on red in Jersey. Check the Dinan website for the pics of the tune harness. The harness itself is exposed slightly on the fenderwhells, and the jacket has a unique color. Once you determine where the harness jacket would be located in the engine bay in a tuned F85 you should be able to easily ID whether or not yours has it. But from my experience it's a 50/50 shot it's still installed. Most guys know for 2 hours of labor they can sell it for a grand more than they paid for labor on this very website. And conversely most $tealerships don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to sell a modded luxury SUV to the next potential buyer

how do you know if you turn it off accidentally or? I though my car had the Stage 1 on the app it listed both S1 & S2?? I was not aware of S2 and clicked on it. Did i just screw something up??
