Nope, better things to do than contribute to those who do not respect the flag, law enforcement, and the men and women who have died for our country.

Nope, and it's not just because they involved politics.

I used to love watching football, but now games take the entire day. Every play is analyzed and picked apart, there is a commercial every 10 minutes, etc. It just isn't enjoyable anymore. Watching players whine about politics was the straw that broke the camel's back. I have more interesting things to do on a weekend than waste a whole day watching, and I think many other people feel the same.

Thank you

I don’t how much study of the living does any good towards a medical conclusion now. If BU has results of their sample to years in the future with pathology reports compared after autopsy the data will be of value. The article mentions a Boston U study 110/111 NFL deceased players found to have had CTE speaks louder then what Buffalo U studies.

these guys know what they are getting into, and they do it for the love of the game/money.

Exactly, these are large grown men who are in a HIGH RISK profession. They could easily find another line of work if so desired. But the “fame/money” are hard to pass up. Even the guys making league minimum.

To say that CTE is some hush hush thing the NFL covers up is a stretch. There is a reason Players wear helmets! Now how each teams medical staff/doctor handles head injuries is team based. If you are wearing a helmet you are doing something dangerous that could have consequences or cause injury, common sense.

I don’t see rugby guys/Australian rules football guys complaining. And those leagues are way more violent, and no helmets!

My sentiments exactly. And I live in Patriot country where the best team in the NFL plays. I was getting turned off prior to the political BS, and that ridiculousness put me over the edge. I only watched the super bowl last year, and watched the refs give the game to the eagles, and vowed to never watch again. I don't miss it.

Any inkling of stats for concussions? I've thought for a long time that soft pads and helmets would cut way down on concussions.

Stopped about 10 years ago. A bunch of criminals, misogynists, and exploiters. And that's just the owners. I'll be damned if they get a nickel of advertising or ticket revenue from me.

I've watched maybe a total of one quarter so far this season. As a Giants fan, that's enough.
