Brakenetic Rotors?

Anyone have any feedback on F85 Brakenetic rotors off eBay?

100% feedback on their account.

The product looks great!

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-REAR-...UAAOSwvrxbRVcs

Look to be about $500 less than OEM pricing. I like the look of the black hub mount (which will be mostly hidden) and they match front and rear (oem will be close enough to not notice).

Anyone have experience with these?

One guy is running them. I bought the fronts just haven't installed yet.

A guy in the F85 got all bent out of shape about them. Apparently the rotors he was sent were different thickness on either side of the rotor.

If you ask me, and although not ideal, you won't feel the difference. Only time will tell how they last. But as you said good reviews overall. I think their cost warrants at least a try.

I've had them on front and back for a few thousand miles now and no complaints at all.

Damn it. Back when I was searching for rotors/calipers to upgrade - there was nothing available basically lol. Now there's tons of options and adapters etc. Should have waited - good things come to those who wait eh?

Tons is a strong word haha. Brakenetic is the only option besides oem for rotors. And M5 has always been an option but they're more expensive so why do that lol.

Looks like a good option. The hat is coated so it won't rust easily.

I just purchased these for the X5. Race proven brand and have used on previous vehicles.

Yes those are good but they're small. We were all looking for larger rotors to go with the X5M caliper mod.

Sad....

Was hoping you had found a good set!

Seems like just about everything squeaks of squeals on these puppies?

I'm on OEM 35i brakes so I might give these a try when the time comes. Thanks

Advantage over OEM? Are the squeak free?

20k update:

Rotors still holding strong with the Brembo calipers and pads.

You get the same squeak as the m kit, haven't found a sweet spot on pads that don't squeak.

They have survived two winters with no rust; I'm happy.
