Aftermarket Hitch
I need to install a hitch on my 2015 X5 and have been looking at the Draw Tite brand to install. The model they sell says it doesn't fit a model with the M sport package. Does anyone know why this would be the case?
What would the difference be with the rear? The hitch is installed by removing the rear bumper and installing the hitch on the bumper brackets. The manufacture of the hitch said it was because the exhaust is different in the M sport package but our last X5 was a 2015 also and the exhaust was the same on it this one just has different exhaust tips. Let me know if anyone has had experience with this. Thanks |

That hitch works for m sport, NOT x5m. Simple bolt on.

Also, Draw Tite hitch allows you to keep the existing metal bumper re enforce bar. Curt hitch does not allow that. To me, that's a biggie.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit the M rear bumper. All the other brands I know of do just fine. Not if you have the cf diffuser installed though.
