This thread is long & I searched to the best of my ability, but have been unable to find what I'm looking for. I've basically E-SYS coded everything that I want on my F15. Two things I cannot for the life of me figure out:

1: Welcome Lights to include Turn Signal Eyelid (LED Headlights), Door handle LEDs, Fogs & mirror LED Strips.

Right now the welcome lights only include the Halos, Rear Tail Light LED's & License Plate. I know it's possible because I activated them before with Carly & I see the option on bimmercode as well.

2: Fog lights on with DRL's

Any insight is appreciated.

Anyone tried to modify F15 drive dynamics (ECO, COMFORT, SPORT) through Esys, like steering firmness change in different modes, remember last mode and start in same after sleep.

I have 2016 F15 Xdrive 40e.

You can code the car to remember the last drive mode and add different drive modes in the ICM ECU. I don't know if they have any affect if you don't have the requisite hardware like adaptive dampers for the chassis settings. I suppose it may still enable the different throttle response, shift points, and steering feel changes though. Most of the coding values are already in the cheat sheet if you're using Launcher Pro or Esys-X.

I might be missing something in the cheat sheet I have, May I know what FUNCTION I should look for in the documents for enabling different throttle, steering?

I'll pull them when I get back home. What drive mode are you wanting to add? There is comfort, comfort+, sport, sport +, and eco pro. Of the modes, which do you want the car to remember? There is a setting for each drive mode that you want to be remembered, not a single setting to remember them all.

I want it to remember last drive mode and wakeup in same mode like if today I drove in eco and it went to sleep, when woke up it should remember eco not comfort. If I drove in sport tomorrow it went to sleep and it should wake up in sport. Is this possible?

Remembering the drive mode is possible, there is just a coding function that has to be changed for each specific mode you want remembered.

The vehicle automatically adjusts the steering, throttle response, damper settings and transmission based on the drive mode. I don't know how to modify those settings outside of select the drive mode you want and let the car adjust the other settings to match. I have all the options for the feature to work, so I don't know what would happen if the settings were changed in a car without them.

Mine used to do these but after battery replacement they were lost, I believe it's in code Level change.

Does it require damper controls? Or what features it should have to work? I can try and see if it changes anything.

I enabled the modes I want to change, like just sport+.

On my esys I auto fetch codes isn't working.

I tried changing feshmode5 to sports+ and FDL code it. After X5 woke up I lost all driving dynamics including the mode switch button next gear isn't working.

I did a reset to ICM ECU and cleared faults everything is normal. Driving Dynamics changed in different modes after reset, but still lagging the feel of firmness, play in steering and throttle response is reduced now compared to previous behavior.

My current default settings without any FDL edit is Mode1: Comfort, Mode5: Sport, Mode7: Eco which is bit different to cheatsheet. I tried to add Sport+,comfort+ in different fesmode, but this is crashing the display/buttons with bunch of faults in more than 6 ECU's including KOMBI posted above to configure SPORT mode.

Once drive modes are changed in ICM ECU, Is there anything I should modify to sync up with other ECU's for increased tuning in driving dynamics(Sport,Comfort,Eco)?

Is there anybody in Wisconsin (Southeast preferred) that has ISTA+ that could help me recalibrate my steering angle sensor on my F15 X5?

Edit: No longer needed, was able to do this with a Foxwell NT530
