Coding optimizes the DSC and ABC by distributing the braking power for the front and rear. So if you get different brakes for the rear, then I believe the optimization is lost (somewhat). In any case, the difference is minor from what I know.

These rear calipers look great. Better than what the MPBK comes with (that I have).

Sorry again.

I am not 100% sure, but If I understood right, they will fit 1:1 --> F85 calipers on ordinary F15.

So the only "issue" is at the rear with this screws for rotor and IŽll need new caliper carrier...right?

The prices here in europe are near the same for MBK set and X5M set. Would you prefer also the 6 caliper setup?

Thank you

Just joining this thread as I am doing my big brake kit for front and rear.

Fronts:
2014 M5 (F10) 6 Pot Calipers
OEM M5 (F10) Rotors
Caliper Rebuild Kits
TRONIK M5 to F15 Mounting Kit

Rears:
2012 Porsche Cayenne S (milled) 4 Pot Calipers
OEM X5M (F85) Rotors
Caliper Rebuild Kits
TRONIK F15 Big Brake Rear Mounting Kit

Turning them in on Monday for sand blasting & powder coating. They did a color match to my mineral white F15. Will post pictures when it's completed.

All parts are now on hand. However, the BMW vendor messed up and sent me two Passenger M5 Rotors 🤷🏽 (marked with X). They are aware of the issue, but I have to wait until Tuesday for them to send me the Drivers side one so I can send this wrong one back.

All that is left now is to wipe down the calipers and make/install new Crossover Tubes for the M5 Front Calipers (don't trust the ones that came on calipers). Then turn in the calipers on Tuesday for sand blasting & powder-coating. By the time they're ready for pick-up, I should have the Drivers Side rotor issue sorted out.

^^ gonna look sick. Not seem many calipers done in white.

I HIGHLY recommend ceramic coating them as it will help keep the brake dust from sticking.
