Top Design's Carpet Mats

So I had the nice opportunity to try out a carpeted mat from topdesign which I've received two days ago from China.

First initial impression is the quality appears to be comparable to the OEM. I would even say it feels more plush and thicker making the mats slightly more heavier than OEM. I like the white stitching contrast and you will notice the double stitching for durability. Also Top Design's mats have a synthetic trim edge.

From the photos you will notice when comparing the size with the OEM mats, Top Designs is a little bigger except the front passenger which looks to be identical in size. When installing the mats the additional size doesn't seem to be an issue and actually gave it a little more coverage. You will notice the rear seat mats are a one piece versus separate mats with the OEM. I much prefer the one piece design for the maximum coverage and protection. I would say the fitment is spot on.

I didn't care too much for the topdesign logo and would much prefer no logo if a copyright is an issue or concern. Other than that these are a very nice mats.

They look pretty good. I'm not a fan of the logo though. That's just my opinion.

I suspect the mats that I received is their first prototype or a test mat to see how it would fit in a US X5.

I think if Top Design used the same logo as the 5 series mats then it would be a hit or even a BMW X5 logo. I don't know if this would cause legal issues for them though.

Is that for the entire set? If it's for the set that is great price imo.

Too Bad

They look nice, but that logo makes it a no go in my book. They seem nice other than that.

Since we are on the topics of mats, that round Velcro circle on the driver side came off. How do I attach it again? It tried plopping it back in, then attempt to twist it, but I feel like the piece is about to snap.

Perhaps having a design without the logo, or having the option of removing the logo and shrinking the patch to a thinner size. Instead, with the double stitching around the mat, having the option to choose colored stitching. IE - Red/Blue, Blue/White, White/Red, White/White.

If the quality is as good as Kzang suggests, this can be a very good, clean alternative to the M Performance mats, minus their logo of course.

thanks bro, so far, the stitching colors are black black, black white, blue red, black red with different ratio, for special colors, it's not big problem to do customized, even the printing, but it takes longer time and higher price without returning, not sure it is acceptable

I've never had to replace mine yet but maybe you need new clips?

The actual mat is nice. It actually feels better than the original carpet mats. I can't say anything bad about the mat itself. The rear carpet has no logos, so this piece alone would be great to have.
