Curious on y’alls fuel range
I typically get 200 to 250 miles in combined city and highway on a single tank. What about yours?

I'm not sure how some of you are getting 18+ mpg doing 90 mph. I can only do 18 - 19 if I drive like a grandma and keep it around 65 - 70, which is very difficult in this car because it's so smooth and isolated and the engine pushes out power effortlessly. Lots of local roads is more like 14mpg and highway will be 16 tops.

There are couple of "sweet spots" in rpm range on most motors mine is at 82 mph and 92 mph...all is relevant to atmospheric pressure / temp, wind & humidity naturally. I will see 21 on flat road, cooler temps ( lows 70- high 60s), no head winds.

Highest I've seen is 27.5mpg.....
200 mile round trip, highway nearly all the way, lots of discipline, ride the torque curve like a diesel and this engine can be very efficient 👍 |

Yeah, no way have I ever gotten that high...
I average 205-210 a tank with mostly city on my commute (5 mi hwy, 8 mi city). Car says 11.5mpg typically. On a long highway drive, I can pull 17mpg and 300+ a tank. I have BM3 Stage 1, Dinan intake, Eisenmann Race exhaust.

Only getting around 200-220 per tank with my mostly local, short hop dives. I've done some highway driving recently and am trying to stretch this tank to 300. Haven't done any true long hauls trips yet, but I can't imagine ever even getting a sniff at 400!

All stock 2017 F85 mixed I average a little over 400 miles per tank. All highway at 85-90 mph from El Paso to Phoenix I get close to 560 miles on a tank. This is about the same as the Mercedes S550 4Matic I traded in.

I'm consistently in the 275-300 miles per tank. Car is completely stock and sees mostly highway miles. I'm curious if/how the Eisenmann Sport exhaust I've been eyeing will impact mpg.

An exhaust will only affect your fuel economy by making you accelerate harder so you can hear it 😂
I think everyone should also consider that their tanks might not be full to begin with. The pump consistently stops way before my tank is full where I fill up and you’re not supposed to pump your own gas in NJ (hate that) |

Exhaust impact will be slight as all you are doing is decreasing back pressure. Right foot pretty much controls fuel economy/ tire wear/ brake wear/ etc, IMHO!

Couldn't have said it better. Who buys a performance vehicle, then worries about its fuel economy.

I will say that I picked up my CPO and two weeks/1,500 miles later I took a look at my air filters. They were brand new when I took ownership. They were full of dirt and debris. My mpg’s went from 11 avg to 18+. No other changes. |

I have two performance vehicles; X5M and E63 AMG. And I learned long time ago, not to worry about gas mileage because they both suck regardless how gingerly, I apply the throttle. But, I do understand your logic
