Very true! Car feels great! Was BM3 stage 1 so immediately flashed to stage 2 and she's quick. A few others on stage 2 w/ same mods have dyno'd at 380ish hp to the wheels. It feels that fast. Peaking at 19 psi boost!

Not bad with the windows up. Windows down there's def an odor. To be honest, it's a bit stronger with the X5 compared to my old catless E46 M3. Would prob detour some but not me. Wife hasn't noticed yet, thank God! She doesn't know about the downpipe

FYI, BM3 flash tune allows you to customize some features including "start up roar" which I'm loving. No matter how warm the car is it's a cold start every time. The standard BM3 stage 2 tune defaults to disable cold start since cats are deleted. I personally love the sound of cold start.

Luckily, I don't have that. Are you BM3 stage 2 tune? I believe the default for that tune is to eliminate cold start which I assume would fix your rattle issue.

No still havent unlocked dme.once i do was planning on flashing with mhd.

Just cold starts like first thing in the morning
Calms down after about 15-20 seconds
When its warm u cant hear it anymore
Also the smell is pretty bad sometimes

Gotcha. Yeah I don't have that. Something does rattle sometimes within the first 100 yds when I pull out of my driveway after a cold start. Goes away after the first gear shift. Come to think of it. I haven't heard it since the downpipe install.
