Custom Steering Wheel Question.

Hey,

I bought a carbon fiber steering wheel question, im going to go ahead and try to install it myself.

But Just a quick question, where is the battery that you have to disconnect in the trunk? i know where the location is but idk what to disconnect.

Disconnect the terminals from the battery. At least the negative terminal.

Trunk . Disconnect both batterys small and big. I just did my steering wheel last week .

Batteries are located in the trunk, there are two. One for the whole car and one for the fans that runs to cool down turbos and engine after you shut the car off. Remove negative terminal on both batteries.

You only have jump points under hood so that you can use your car to or get jump easily without accessing batteries under the trunk.

Are you sure you should be doing this yourself? I get there are YouTube videos, etc. all over the web, but if you don’t know how to disconnect a battery cable, then this may be a bit more complicated. It is your steering wheel we’re talking about. Not to mention the potential for an accidental airbag deployment.
