X6 performance in the snow & rain?
I just took delivery on a 2016 X6 (Black/Cognac) and live in Philadelphia PA where we experience all seasons. I'm curious to know how this car will handle in the rain and snow. It has the standard factory 19" wheels/tires. Any experiences out there?
From the way this forum is set up, should I assume that the X5 & X6 will perform the same? In advance, thanks for the help. |

Which tires are on the factory 19's? I think you'll see varying responses based on locale, driving needs / styles, etc... For me, I've been very happy with the performance in the wet & snow on my X5 (running Pirelli Snow & Ice - staggered 20's) and the OE Pirelli P-Zeros for spring / summer months. For 'most', a good all season tire will suffice. If you venture into mountain terrain or desire better traction in icy conditions, dedicated winters are going to provide improved performance.
