Just noticed the "Air Ride Equipped" trailer in the background... coincidence?
![]() I am really torn on this one... my 07 X5 is so great, I LOVE the vehicle and have been pondering a 2012/13 X5 but since I'm a gadget/options lover, I think the 2014 X5 will appeal with new touch Idrive and I'm sure there will be other cool options that will push me over the edge. Also... I LIKE the new X3 styling so a larger X3 is just fine with me!

I'd like to see more/better cargo room, as E70 really limits the space due to the shape of the panels and the cutoff from the roofline/hatch. A few extra inches of rear legroom would be nice to have, to match the already good headroom, shoulder room, and overall airiness of the cabin. I'd like to see the second row be moveable on all X5's, and having the seats to go further aft, allowing the choice between cargo and legroom. Rear passengers ought to be able to have a very comfortable seat in a vehicle as large as the X5.

Sorry, I didn't mean to wanting you to show any proof. I just found the reply funny and often true. Would be nice if all other did like you. BMW would already have their R8 rival.

With that being said, it may currently work for you and yours but currently does not work for me and mine and therefore the MDX 3rd row is more usable for me at this time. |

It looks as big as the GL. I like the current size of the X5. It's not too big, not too small. Our third row seat is useless, but I will take it over the GL any day

I thought about getting a Cayenne but it's too expensive for me. A base Cayenne with a 0 to 60 of 7.4s is slower than the X5 3.5 which has a 0 to 60 of 6.4s. To get decent performance, in my opinion, you need to get at least the Cayenne S which sets you back at $66.8k. Options are very expensive for Porsches. Just to get navigation, you need to add PCM which will cost you $3-4k. When I tried configuring a Cayenne S, my total cost came out to $85k. When I tried configuring an X5 3.5, the total cost was $62k.
