F85 B&O Mid-Range Door Speaker Cover LED [Dumb Thread]

Searched this forum to no avail....

Can someone let me know if your B&O mid-range door speaker LED lights up or not? (Front and rear @ the 6 O'Clock position on the cover. Model Year would help...mine is 2018)

I have used the NBT EVO iDrive B&O LED setting to turn off and on the B&O LED, but only the tweeter and center console LED turn on/off and light up.

I want to add this to my list of "fixes" on my next dealership visit if they are supposed to light up.

On my '16 X5M, only the tweeters and center channel light up, but I turn that shit off, anyway.

Is this light you guys don't see/have/is operational?
Or are you referring to door panel itself?

The Light I'm referring to is the mid-range speaker on the door card, which is supposed to light up.

Now I may look to see if this is a VO feature.

The mids on my doors above the window controls do not light up on my ‘17 F85. Unless I’ve missed an option somewhere, but I doubt I would activate it if there was one.

Sorry for starting such dumb thread.....should have just taken a look...

Just pulled off the speaker covers and no way for the covers to light up....

...and found the speaker wire pinched between speaker and door panel...wonder what other wires on this $100K car are pinched...

These used to lit up. Had B&O on my 2014 and those speakers also had a led strip in white. Now I have a 2017 and they do not.

To remove the covers on the door panels, it just requires a plastic pry tool, and they pop right off. They are keyed and only fully install in one orientation, snapping the lower portion first, will allow for easy reinstallation.
