Can always just add a few washers to lift it up off the hub. I did that on my C55 to run 5mm larger rotors than oem. Can't go to big though unless you get longer bolts.

For those looking for f85 X5M calipers, I just bought the CF trim from this X5. The calipers are still available.
When I was searching Ebay and car-part.com earlier this year, they are almost impossible to find. I ended up picking up M6 calipers and had to purchase the mounting brackets at additional cost from Tronik.

Just passing it along in case it helps somebody

How did you manage to have them ship to USA? I had issue with them not dealing with USA clients. I had to pay $100 in wire fees to get a $300 item cause it was so cheap so I didn't mind lol

I have about 1/4” left, so your pads look smaller than they should be. I have oem pads

I thought I'd circle back to this. Had an opportunity to bed the pads on a trip to the cottage. This is how the 35D should have come from the beginning. Way better threshold braking, and my god, the brakes haul you down from speed in a hurry. I couldn't over do it though, wife and kids were along, with the dog in the trunk and clothes and food were in the cargo box

I am going to swap out my rotors/pads as I feel like maybe its the reason why stopping power isn't all there. I do have powerstop pads, which squels sooo bad.

Rolls Royce's calipers 34116855461 pretty much look the same like E70 X5M 34116789341: Here's a link to an eBay offer. The part number of both calipers is different and so are the numbers of the brake pads although they have the same measurements (135mm length, 114mm width, 19mm thickness) and even the same brembo part number 24524.
Both calipers share the same guide pins 34 11 6 789 293 and repair set brake caliper 34 21 6 780 515.
What is more, RR and E53 both have 5x120 bolt circle and 72.5mm wheel hub diameter.

I think RR's 410x36 discs should fit our E53. What do you think?
The calipers used by the RR with 410x36 rotors are these : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolls-Royce...a60a%7Ciid%3A1

Same as ones used on F03 (Security 7 series). So they should fit other Fxx series too, but not sure if these rotors will work with the x5m calipers..

So update guys.

I finally switched rotors from EBC Rotors/PowerStop Pads to R1 Concepts Rotors/EBC Redstuff. Oh boy, Just a huge difference! I take all my comments back on not feeling a difference. The only bad thing is EBC produces so much brake dust but I plan on ceramic coating my wheels anyway.

EBC Redstuff is supposed to be the least dust producing pads. I'm surprised you're seeing more dust with them. Yellowstuff pads produce the same dust as stock. In any case, they are organic pads so cleaning wheels should still be easier

Yeah I'm seeing ton more brake dust. All over the car. I actually like knowing my brakes doing the job unlike last set. Car is ceramic coated so not too worried

Picked up these Brembo rear big brake kit calipers (Porsche). Any suggestions on the best brake pad for the application? I have 11mm on my F85 rotors so I'll only be installing new pads. I have the MPBK in the front so coding should be all set.

So any concerns with putting new pads on used rotors? Still a lot of life in the rotors measuring at 11mm. I figure it will take a couple hundred miles to break them in with a new sweep pattern but should be fine.

Not sure what the min depth for service life on the rotor is, but Id look and see what it would cost to get them cut / machined down. May be worth it depending on how they look now / best life with thew new pads.
