Yea. I decided I to keep mine for good. I actually enjoy this better then my old f10 M5. Nothing was wrong with my old motor but it was at 99k miles. So I decided to make the investment and get it built up and add extra power. It's getting on the dyno this week.

We gotta talk.. I speak to raza on the regular but he has a business to run so I need to speak to an actual customer. I'm going back and forth with either keeping my truck or getting the G80 M3... no brainer for most but only F85 guys will understand when I say I love this fucking truck bro lol.

Very hard to give it up...

From what I can see on your IG you were tuned right? If so thats impressive that you made it to 99k miles with no issues, if you did im guessing they were minor. Do you mind sharing your maintenance routine?

A G80? Seriously? I love the specs on that thing, it has awesome freakin' seats, but it has a face only a mother & father could love. We gotta talk lol https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=26509443

Religiously made sure I had my oil changed every 1600-1900 miles, made sure all my fluid lines were no dry rotting. I never started moving after a cold start for at least 3 mins. Lastly, the big one!! Always drive it in sport or sport plus!

Correct. If you drive it in the Normal/eco setting all day every day, you set your self up for failure. When you finally decided to hit that sport plus button , your DMEs won't know what to do (theoretically). That's when you start getting all those misfires. Bucking.etc

Congrats on the new build - freaking wicked!!!
And yes, it's really hard to part ways with an X5M F85.

Question though, why the lack of following back flowers on IG??

Oh so pretty much the same routine that I have for my M3 except I do oil changes every 4-5k with 5w50 instead of the 10w60.

Prior to this motor build what were you pushing WHP and with what mods?

Catless DPs. Full straight pipped exhaust, RK intakes. DME stage 3 tune. That's it.

I just want you or gman_newyork to go to the track cause I know both trucks will fly into the 10's on 93 no race gas or E tune and that's something I've been waiting to see.

Only one guy did it in the states so far and he's here in the NY/NJ area. Zed in Europe and that truck influenced me just a little to switch from purchasing an M3 to spending even more money on an X5M.
