However, if you want to guess, I think it might fit because there's a gap between rotor and caliper visible and 7.5mm difference can be doable - if everything else has same mount points and it looks like it does have same mounting points. Here's pic of 395mm rotor with E70 X5M caliper - you can see gap there. os obviously a bigger rotor can fit, but HOW big and if 410mm will fit - I don't think anyone knows man. No one have ever put Rolls Royce rotors on x5 |

To be honest i don't think there will be any performance gains from using a RR 410mm rotors other than aesthetics 16in rotors, also something to consider you may or may not be able to fit factory 19in snow wheels anymore due to rotor size, it's already almost 1/2in clearance left with M sport brakes and 19in wheels. |

Why look at RR brakes? If they are same as you claim but they are more money? That link shows $700 almost for one, you can get a pair for $700 off an X5m

I already have mounted X5M E70 calipers and rotors on my E53 4.8is. I am curious whether 410x36 RR rotors would fit on any X5 as well. Friction surface is +8,01% compared to 395x36. So I found and bought 410x36 RR rotors 34116786631 left and 34116786632 right on eBay Germany today. These are the same rotors as used on the armoured BMW F03 750LiS/760LiS. I will mount them on my E53 in order to try whether they fit or not.
If not, there is another pair of 410x36 RR rotors worth giving a try: 34106874905 left and 34106874906 right. Maybe they will do. We will see. |

If your goal is better braking performance - then calipers from f85 or f10 M5 will work better as they have more pistons in calipers. Just saying |

Color is Illusion Blue from Prismatic Powders. Tons of flake and it pops in the sun.

I exchanged some emails with Tronik over the weekend. he shared with me his website/store front, that has some good info on it but he also answers questions there. He said he sent several emails trying to get back on the forum but he was denied.. bummer b/c i feel like he could answer a lot of questions for us.
Just a heads up, it's not the most polished website....but it's a good website to review. it's more his storefront i would say. Anyway, thought i would share Link to his website |

FYI, I did this front upgrade on my F15 and used Bendix rotors for about $65ea. Not sure if that was posted somewhere in this thread. But helps keep the cost down. I think the whole upgrade cost me like $700.

Hi Guys!
Upgraded clients X5 F15 front calipers to big brakes but needed to match the rears.. Easy solution was to drill the rear rotors to match the front drilled rotors therefore creating a complete performance look. Also 2 stage painted miami blue! -B3 Garage |

Incorrect- Look closely this is a right and left caliper . You should focus more on supporting your fellow enthusiasts negativity is no bueno. One is a left caliper and one is a right caliper which have different decal orientation ... As you can easily identify by the lower brake fluid hardlines and bleeder nipple.

I have been reading a lot on this forum, and want to thank you all for tons of information you guys share here. In return I would like to share my experience with upgrading my brakes. I was very disappointed with factory stock brakes on my 35D when I got it used last year, such a heavy vehicle has worst brakes on any of the cars I previously had, this is my first X5.
So after reading this forum i got hope that brake issue could be corrected I went and purchased Brembos for M5 F10 from salvage yard, to install them I had to buy an adapters also . Stock brake lines were short so had to replace them with brake lines from F85. New rotors part numbers 34-11-2-284-902 and 34-11-2-284-901 Also had to get wheel spacers , because calipers are so big comparing to original and were touching wheels 19". My mistake was getting Hawks brake pads Hawks HB835R.726 High performance street race brake pads, stopping power is great but they make so much noise, im getting goosebumps sometimes if my window open. And it looks like they ruined new rotors after 4 months, was waiting on the weather to check them out. I am on stock brakes in rear for now, planning to do tro-nik's upgrade with porsche calipers and adapters after seing them on this forum. |

Hey y’all I want to ask and double check.
Piecing this kit together probably. For the rears Are E70 X5m calipers the same as 50i calipers from F15? Will they both fit the F85 M rotor? Thanks! Also those who bought the MPBBK from vendors, how did you get them to swap the rotors to F85 rotors? |
