F10 steering wheel on F85? Will it work?

There is a guy local to me selling a mint wheel from an F10 M5 and am wondering if this can be a straight swap onto my F85? Done a lot of searching and couldn't find a definitive answer...

5 and 6 series have different splines.
1, 2, 3, 4 have the same splines as the X, BUT slightly smaller diameter
