Does anybody know if the diesel particulate filter and the associated pressure sensors are covered under the federal emission warranty?

Extended warranty as far as I remember, yes. I even got a letter from BMW somewhere.

I got two letters from BMW about extension of the limited warranty for EGR Cooler - 10 year unlimited miles and NOx sensors - 10 years/ 120 000 miles.

Have not heard anything about DPF
