All i see is the MAR 2020 one. Do you mind sharing? Mine unit has been alittle buggy lately, since i added a second phone to it, it doesnt know which one to connect to and just craps itself.

So I'm finally ready to add CarPlay to my 2014 X5 F15. After reading all the pages, sounds like JoyeAuto or andream or BimmerTecb

Any additional update or feedback for those of you been using it for awhile? Do you still like yours? Which one do you have?

Same as previous post, I'm looking for one that works with 360 and backup camera as well as the steering control and OEM Mic.

Am I better off with JoyeAuto or Andream?

Lastly, any recommendation for install shop on Dallas? Typical CarToys or BestBuy should be able to install?

Just installed the Andream MMI. (‘15 w/NBT) I’ve installed car audio since the 70’s, and this was pretty straight forward. Videos and the advice from those on this thread that have gone before me, priceless. Like everyone said, getting the wire loom situated was tricky. Kept trying to put the Andream box on the right by the glove box, but read someone just put it behind the factory unit and, although it’s a tight fit, it does fit. I’m a fan of this device. I had a learning curve getting everything set-up but once it became familiar, it’s really easy to navigate through the different menus.Everything works like factory. Just a slight lag in control response, but nothing I won’t get use to after some time with the unit. It connects to my phone without any prompting. Ordered 6/25 and it arrived today. It actually has quite a few features like the Eq, which will come in handy.The only issue I have is figuring out how to get to the Andream menu, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out. All-in-all, I’m giving it 👍👍

I'm looking in to buying one of these.
So far all the options discussed, route the audio via AUX. my questions are:

- Are there any solutions that pass on the digital signal to HK unit?

- If not, the feedback around audio seems to be fine, do we know what DAC chip is used and which unit has better sound quality?

- I see other units on Aliexpress like this one, which doesn't come with Aux cable, do we know if newer units have the capability to pass on the digital signal?

Actually I haven't had any problems with my andream unit. No reboots and no routing problems for calls. I haven't had the echo problem with it so I can just keep it on the CarPlay side and disconnect from idrive BT. The joyeauto was meh but I'm 95% happy with the andream.

You will not get the calls outside of CarPlay with this config. Not even a ringer.
