So question if I was to insert the code given in the attached pic below would that work? This is what it use to look like before the upgrade to RGB. Maybe just use these codes for each layer 1-3 as so forth?

FF for layer 1 00 for layer 2 FF for layer 3 Is this go in the custom value inside the layer options? That’s where I think the confusion lies. |

You need to go to "Custom Value..." to enter the custom color RGB value per layer ensemble. The 3 extra pics below should give you enough to get you there. Hope this really helps you.. |

Thank you. I really do appreciate you helping me here with all this. I’m going to do this but waiting on an activation code for my radio. BMW replaced my radio unit on 6/30 and didn’t put in the activation code for nav so just waiting on that before I start coding. Kind of annoying that I’m still waiting on a call back for something that shouldn’t have left the shop like it is.

Hey guys... hope everyone doing great!!! So I was able to change the ambient light colors on all three levels on my doors as indicated on the pic. What I will like to know is if it's possible to change the ambient color on my seat-backs. I also attached a pic of what I am referring too.

Some how i was able to do green in all front and doors but my sunroof lights got red kind of color and the front seats back light . And also this came on the screen under lighting. See last picture. Maybe is because i did code the TONE option to BANG & OLUFSEN, i hade HARMAN K speaker.

Just read this thread and did my car last night. Here is a simple guide if your x5 doesn't have the groups labeled and they are all named blah_blah_blah_255
Group 1: 3-11 Group 2: 24-32 Group 3: 45-53 Group 4: 66-74 Group 5: 87-95 Group 6: 108-116 Group 7: 129-137 Group 8: 150-158 Group 9: 171-179 The colors look best by using a medium tone with max saturation. IE pure blue, red or Green or one of the tones in between. Pastels don't work as well 100% of a color = 255 or FF in hex. 75% of a color = 191 or BF in hex. 50% of a color = 127 or 7F in hex. 25% of a color = 63 or 3F in hex. 0% of a color = 0 or 00 in hex. Here a color wheel with the most vivid colors and the hexadecimal and decimal values. Last edited by c00lbeans; 10-28-2020 at 02:41 PM.. |

How can I change the color in the front seats on the back above the pocket. Look at the photos still shows red lights instead of blue all around the car.

iOS will be getting the update to easily change colors in Bimmercode (like Android) within the next 2 weeks. Can't wait!
