Vibration while braking at speeds above 130 km/h

Guys, during my day to day driving have to travel over speedlimited roads, and only noticed it so now and then. While braking (medium) there is noticablr virbation. When braking harder or very light no vivartion at all. Am I the only one?

Furthermore the new installed steering wheel spring is making noises again, ordered yet another one.

Hmm, my initial thought was a warped rotor. But that would cause vibrations in all types of braking (light, medium, heavy). I would have your local dealer check it out, something definitely is not right. Could be any number of things, hard to troubleshoot over the forum.

Hi there,

I am in no way an expert when it comes to the mechanics of a car but I just wanted to advise that I had a similar issue on a vehicle (not a BMW granted) and it turned out that the brake discs and pads needed replacement. I could be wrong but hoping that my recent experience could result in a quick solution for you.
