Matte Satin Blue Wrapped X5 M50d by Overdrive

So, I was just randomly browsing pictures of X5s and stumbled across this Matte Satin Blue M50d done by Overdrive in Bulgaria. I know some of you have thought about doing wraps for your X5, and I'm sure this will give you at least some idea of whether or not it's worth doing. Enjoy .

Not a big fan of wraps, but the color itself looks pretty decent on the F15. Which brings me to the real question - what colors is BMW going to offer with X5M? Because let's be honest, the color palette offered for the F15 is just dull. I really want to see crazy colors like Sakhir Orange, Austin Yellow and classics like San Marino Blue.

I agree with you 100%! I won't say that I'm not a fan because I definitely like unique colors on cars but nothing flamboyant like hot pink or banana, lol. I really do hope to see some original M colors that we see in the new m4 and m3 series. It really boggles my mind how these plain/boring colors get chosen for the SUVs. Oh well .

On a side note...have you see the new Range Rover Sport RS (Special Operations version)? Looks like they are finally stepping into the BMW M and Mercedes AMG playing field. I'm digging the blue color (hopefully that's what is underneath the camo):

I think it goes like this:

Dietrich: Zo, what colors are we going to paint our next SUV in?
Schulz: Oooh, it's zo big. You remember that schweine Q7 in white looking like a big refrigerator?
D: So we'll have it in white.
S: Jaaaa, ubermensch! Und let's make 1000 shades of white! Because everyone likes white!
D: Alzo and sadly we need black. Because we've ordered so much black paint and running out of storage. What else?
S: Halt! There's something stuck to my shoe! O, look, it's a photo of my grandmothers room she sent room 10 years ago - look at those dingy wallpapers!
D: We're set then, let's put those colors in. Call Friedrich to start production!

I have never been a RR fan no matter what. I mean they look cool if you have like 3 of them in black escorting the villain with some drama-time music in a James Bond movie, but other than that - I'll always prefer the angry BMW Angel Eyes

Hahaha, thanks for the humorous comments - from my very poor German translation skills = a pig-like Q7 and Shulz either saying "super!" or actually thinking Dietrich is a superior human being for his color choice.

RRs are meh. I don't love em or hate em...I just thought it was interesting to finally see them heading into the performance world. I assume this was largely influenced by Jaguar's F-type division. Yes, they are fun to see in movie chase scenes, lol.

Not my thing, matte blue doesn't work especially with All the chrome.

Nice blue but all those chrome trims have to go. It would look so much better with matte black trims.

Not a fan of wraps in general, and definitely not the matte blue and chrome trim.
