ticking/clicking sound at full lock

Hi All,

I was in a parking garage last night and had my window down and noticed a ticking/clicking sound coming from the front wheels at full lock. The sound isn't noticeable with the windows up. The sound goes away as soon as I start to straighten out.

Has anyone else had or noticed this issue? Any ideas what is causing it?

I think I have seen this from another member. Did you do a thorough search in past threads?

I did but it led me to the F85 issue. Which seems to be similar but a bit different symptom.

Take it to dealer so they can track it.
Forum info is ok, but you need to get to bottom of it quickly.
Would not let it linger just because you can't hear it from inside w/windows closed.

Yah obviously I will take it to the dealer but it’s always good to go in armed with some information on what could be causing the issue so they don’t end up making up some BS reason for the noise. That is why I’m asking if others have had this issue...

I think you're experienced enough to NOT buy anything they sell you.
Doubt they can fool you.

I agree but still like to go in with some idea of what might be causing.

On that note, no noise the last two days...

Maybe an "trapped object" on the wheel?

This is a known issue. SIB# 34 05 15
The dealer will install friction discs on the front axle to resolve the ticking noise.
