Goodbye X5

After having the car less than 11 months, I decided to part ways with the X5. I thought I would like the ground clearance and the handling all the motor journalists rave about. However, after coming from a Audi B8 S4 I miss the sporty handling, responsiveness and power of a sports sedan, so I traded it in for an Audi S6 last week

I'd like to thank everyone for all the help and maybe I'll give the X5 a try again in the future.

Posting the last pic I took of the X5 below and also my new ride.

p.s. I have parts for sale, will be in classifieds section!

Do you have those gloss black grills?

Wish I could have traded rims with you before you traded it in!

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to take them out. Was difficult to get away from work and the dealership wanted me to take possession of the new car before the end of the month.

Was around what I expected, they gave me $44k for trade-in, without the accident I could've got around $48k-$50k I think

I prefer Audi sedans over BMW sedans, mainly because of the design of the interior.

gl with the new car. I personally would never give up bmw for audi. that's like trading a wife for some random chick who performs well. you broke my heart.

I've only had sedans up until the X5 50i I recently got and can say with the DHP. I forget I'm driving an SUV, until I go to step outside the X5 and realize I don't have to push my self up to get out of the car lmao.

Definitely losing out on the space and practicality, the S6 is more luxurious inside with better build quality and materials IMO plus much more responsive and better handling.

I haven't driven a 50i with DHP, maybe if I ordered that to begin with I may not have needed to change lol

Also, my X5 is listed on the dealer website if anyone is looking;

I guess its your personal choice but I highly doubt that audi is more luxurious inside. I like the outside look but the interior is a deal breaker.. still no illuminating panels inside that popping lcd seems kinda misplaced when opened. Or may be its just me not being an audi guy. My apologies to those who feel otherwise.
I hope you are aware that the new 6 series are coming out soon.

Jlu88, if you don't mind sharing how much did you get for your car as a tradein? I'm very curious cuz dealers are usually scambags and would always offer some miserable numbers.

The S6 does have ambient lighting in the door panels, but it's only white and you can't change the color. Yes, I like the new 6 coming out. However, the new S6 won't have a twin turbo V8 and although everyone is doing the touchscreen thing for the center console, I prefer physical buttons.

They started at $39k, I was like wtf! So worked up to a more acceptable $44k.
